I was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania, about two miles from my
current home, in a hard working, close-knit family full of creative talents ranging from music to paintings. I
always had a knack for creative detail, spending hours on my grandparent's farm, cultivating clay from a damp river bank to
mold birds and cats as a child. Many of my oil paintings now hang in the 1800s farm house, paintings done from old photographs.
My grandmother wanted to add color.
I also always loved to create fictional stories, characters, imagine
them and their worlds and bring them to life with words and sketches. In 2001, I bought my first computer and studied more
into writing, publishing, art and so forth. I'm constantly working to improve my skills and my art and designs are no
exception. I work toward perfection in images and pleasing my customers. If you browse my samples on this site,
you will see the variations in the art I do for myself and some of the images I've created for others.
My preferred style and projects are colorful, realistic fantasy/action
art, though I will create covers and graphics for anything from humor to drama and nonfiction in any range of topics.
If I can "see it" in my mind's eye, I can bring it to life on paper.
I work hard with my clients to visualize things in a way that would most please them, not myself. I work one on one
with my clients, always. Growing up in a small, rural town taught me the importance of friendly and attentive customer
service.
If there is something I can do to help you with a design for anything,
please just ask, and we'll work together to see what we can accomplish.
